Administration Officer

National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is a not for profit organisation that operates Australia’s laboratory accreditation system.  NATA’s Training Services Group offers laboratory and quality management training programs.

We currently have a job share position available and are seeking to employ an Administration Officer in our Training Services Group.  We are looking for someone who is organised, efficient, shows initiative and enjoys working with a small team of training professionals.  The role involves customer service, general training administration including data entry and preparation of course materials. Full training and support provided.

Key Responsibilities/attributes:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Administer the instructor led and online training course programs, including the course calendar and schedules, bookings, confirming and overall management of training venues;
  • Prepare and despatch relevant course materials and liaise with venues for public and in-house courses;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft packages (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint);
  • Clear customer service orientation as reception relief is required from time to time;
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload;
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.

Salary and Conditions: Standard 15 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary package that includes employer contribution to superannuation scheme, normal Award benefits, and an excellent work environment. 

Permanent Australian Residency is a pre-requisite for this position.

The successful applicant must be able to work two consecutive days for example Monday and Tuesday of each week (nominated days to be confirmed) as this is a job-share arrangement.
