NATA Accounts Officer

NATA is the authority that provides independent assurance of technical competence through a proven network of best practice industry experts for customers who require confidence in the delivery of their products and services. NATA provides assessment, accreditation and training services to laboratories and technical facilities.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to take on the role of Accounts Officer for 9 to 12 month months maternity leave contract.
The key attributes for this position are:
- Capability and experience in Accounts Payable.
- Accounts Receivable functions such as invoicing and collection of membership fees.
- Co-ordination and liaison with auditors.
- The ability to communicate effectively and comprehend and manage a broad range of issues.
Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
The skills, training, experience, and personal qualities required include:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or a relevant discipline and typically a minimum of three years’ experience working in an Australian finance environment
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in use of main stream accounting software and capacity to learn new systems
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem solving skills
