Program Advisor - Imaging

The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is Australia’s national accreditation body which provides independent assurance of the technical competence and integrity of organisations for clients who require confidence in the delivery of their products and services.

We are seeking to appoint a newly created position of Program Advisor, Imaging in our Melbourne or Sydney office.

About the role

The role will report to the Sector Manager, Legal and Clinical Services and oversee both the technical advice and delivery of the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS) and the technical advice for the RANZCR/NATA Medical Imaging Program.  The role will also provide supervision and support directly to DIAS Client auditors.

A key aspect of the role will initially require the successful candidate to undertake a review of the current processes and systems in place for the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme and the RANZCR/NATA Medical Imaging Program.  This will include liaising with relevant Stakeholders.

Skills and experience

We seek professionals holding a degree in Science or Applied Science, having proven relevant post graduate professional laboratory experience.  To be successful in this role, you will be computer literate, self-motivated, well organised and a logical thinker, with highly developed interpersonal skills, oral and written communications skills.  A sound knowledge of the principles of good laboratory management and the ability to interact with people at a professional level is required.  The ability to work unsupervised and manage a number of simultaneous tasks is essential.  Previous auditing experience would be highly desirable, although training will be provided.

Salary and Conditions
