JENNIFER EVANS - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Jennifer joined NATA in 1987 and was appointed CEO in 2011. Jennifer began her career at NATA as a Scientific Officer with the Medical Testing team. She became the first Manager for Forensic Science and developed NATA’s accreditation program for forensic science laboratories. She followed this with the establishment of the accreditation program for medical imaging practices.
Throughout her long career at NATA ,Jennifer has held a number of key management roles in Quality Management, Compliance, Governance and Operations prior to being appointed as CEO.
As CEO, Jennifer is responsible for the Association and is its’ representative Public Officer which carries out a number of formal responsibilities as defined in NATA's Constitution (NATA Rules).
ERIC LO - General Manager (GM), Business Services and Company Secretary
Eric joined NATA in September 2009 after a long career as senior executive in superannuation, funds management, property investment, and life insurance.
Eric has extensive experience in business process re-engineering, strategic planning, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructure, and capital raisings for listed entities.
At NATA, Eric has overall responsibility for Corporate Planning, Risk Management, People and Culture, Finance and Accounting, Statutory Company secretarial functions and Facilities Management.
SUE HARRY - General Manager (GM), Stakeholder Relations & State Manager SA & NT
Sue began her career with NATA in 1994 as the State Manager for SA & NT where she oversees the management of the State office and maintains a State stakeholder network.
Sue has held other management positions within NATA prior to becoming a GM, including Stakeholder Relations, Strategic Projects, and Health Strategic Projects when she worked with the Australasian Sleep Association to develop the Sleep Disorders Services accreditation program
As GM for Stakeholder Relations, Sue nurtures and develops NATA's strategic relationships across the government, the corporate sector, professional and industry associations, members and consumers.
ROB PASSAM - General Manager (GM), Information Communication Technology
Rob joined NATA in 2008 and is responsible for NATA’s Information Technology infrastructure and systems. This includes the ICT network infrastructure, application delivery platforms, ICT support services and corporate information management systems such as the accreditation management system (AIMS), the electronic document and records management system, email, Intranet and Internet.
Rob has 25+ years ICT experience, the past 12 years in senior management positions.
Rob’s industry experience has been gained across a number of private and public sectors including; healthcare; state government; pharmaceutical; laboratory accreditation; and beverage manufacturing.
JOHN STYZINSKI - General Manager (GM), Technical and Operations
John joined NATA in 1996 as a Medical Testing Scientific Officer and was later promoted to Manager, Medical Imaging, then Technical Manager prior to being appointed General Manager in 2011.
John has overall responsibility for the delivery of NATA’s accreditation programs and related activities and is responsible for maintaining our technical integrity according to national and international standards and those requirements set by the Board.
TONY VANDERBERG - General Manager (GM), Compliance and Governance
Tony began at NATA in 1996 as a Scientific Officer in Chemical Testing and worked in a number of operational and quality roles before being appointed to the General Manager role in 2011.
Tony ensures NATA’s management systems and accreditation processes are in compliance with relevant international standards (predominantly ISO/IEC 17011 and ILAC/APAC requirements) and other agreements. He also works with the NATA Board to ensure NATA is governed in accordance with the NATA Constitution, NATA Rules, and applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.
